Here's a sneak peek into my morning routine when I'm working an anaesthesia nursing shift :)
I typically walk into the staff room with a coffee in hand and pick up a set of fresh scrubs and theatre shoes. I head down to the operating room, where I put on my scrub cap and surgical mask and then go into the operating room to start setting up the room. Once inside the operating room I start by checking the anaesthesia machine, making sure everything works and all airway supplies are available. I then move on to preparing medications and providing nursing care according to the daily list.
Hope you enjoyed it :) Let me know if you'd like to see more!
